Follow the counties or FHP troop zones that matter to you and build a personalized watchlist around the communities you care about. Whether you want to monitor your home county, your commute, a family member’s area, nearby communities, or major routes across the state, your feed can be tailored to show relevant activity without extra noise.

FHP Notifier also works as a local awareness and news tool. By showing real-time incidents, updates, locations, and recently closed events, the app helps users understand what is happening in their communities throughout the day. From major crashes and roadway closures to construction, roadway hazards, fires, and other developing incidents, FHP Notifier helps turn live roadway data into practical community awareness.

The app includes a live incident list with active and recently closed events, making it easy to scan what is happening now and what has recently cleared. Each incident includes key details such as incident type, location, reported time, troop area, and any available remarks or updates. When more information becomes available, FHP Notifier keeps the incident organized so you can quickly understand what changed.

FHP Notifier also includes a map view so you can see where incidents are happening geographically. Tap into incident locations, check nearby activity, and open directions in Maps or Google Maps when you need route context. You can also copy incident locations or share incident details with others, making it easier to pass along useful information when a crash, closure, or public safety incident may affect someone else.

Notification settings let you control what you want to be alerted about. Choose the counties and troop zones you follow, then customize alerts for new incidents and updates. This helps you stay aware of important roadway and community activity while keeping notifications focused on the places and incident types that matter most to you.

What’s new

• Troop-wide alerts - Silver, AMBER, Blue, Spectrum, and Purple Alerts now appear and send notifications across all counties within the affected troop zone instead of only the originating county.
• Incident pins on the live map now update their location in real time as incident details change.
• Updated the map legend in FAQ to use “Vehicle Crash” for improved clarity.
• Bug fixes, backend improvements, and performance enhancements.
