Basin Boat Lighting leads the industry in Safety Lighting Systems for Boats and Kayaks. The SmartBird™ family, the EarlyBird™ and BrightBird™, are the product lines. The PaddleBird™ is mounting adaptions for the EarlyBird™ and BrightBird™ to adapt to Kayaks. All Birds have a main LED, Horn, USB Ports, industry leading materials, Bluetooth equipped master circuit board, key fob remote operation from the Captain’s Chair, and the new cutting-egde, SOS mode is available in our appBird™. When activated, SOS mode goes to work – the main LED enters flashyBird mode blinking at 50 to 70 times a minute (meets USCG definition of visual distress signal); the loudBird (Horn) screams into action calling for help (105db meets USCG definition of audible distress signal); your current/last known location (internet dependent) is sent to Basin Boat Lighting, we notify the appropriate authorities and your listed emergency contact. The app can have medical information and, if indicated by you, those in route will have this info prior to arrival. This is the ultimate Safety Lighting System. It also offers weather access from your current location, full control of the Bird via iOS or Android, and more!
