We're an infrastructure heavy livestock operation - lots of permanent fence, water, etc. Field margin is a jack of all trades without leaving you feeling like it's exceptionally lacking in one area. The app allows me to plot jobs and explanations on the map so that if I'm pulled away from the farm, my staff know where to go and what to do without my presence. Having all my paddock acreage numbers at my finger tips makes supplemental seeding simple. It makes tracking paddock rest days easy.

Not bad, but did they really forget to put a scale bar on a map? If you've already got your farm set, it's fine to just manage everything, but if you're trying to plan a new field and you want it to be say 100 yards by 100 yards square for irrigation purposes, you can't really plan out a hundred yards square unless you already know exactly 100 yards on your land. It's a map, regardless, it should have a scale bar. Maps have scale bars.

Very nice and easy to use. Ads, are, necessary, at least for the free version, ah well, they aren't too bad. So far I am impressed with Fieldmargin, but I haven't tried any others, still, it is very helpful. I only wish there was a ( Really CHEAP) version for hobby farm homestead types like myself who don't have any spare cash, and don't actually make money -- yet anyway, and likely never will, but who would still like a less expensive way to get and keep everything organized. So it's nice.
