VisitsTracker is the field app for teams whose working day happens away from a desk: attendance, customer site visits, the work recorded at each one, and the claims that follow.
It is deployed by an employer to their own staff. You need a login from your organisation to use it — there is no public sign-up in the app.
WHAT YOU DO WITH IT
• Punch in and out at a site, with an optional selfie, and see your hours on the clock today.
• See the day's jobs and sites — address, contact and the access details you need at the gate.
• Record the visit on the forms your organisation set up: typed answers, dropdowns, dates, photos, signatures and files.
• Claim expenses with a receipt photo, and mileage measured from your own trail — nothing to type means nothing to argue about.
• Request leave, see your balance, and see what a request will cost in working days before you send it.
• Look at your own day on the map: every fix in order, your stops, your driving.
• Export your own weekly evidence report at any time, without asking anyone.
WORKS WITH NO SIGNAL
Basements, lifts, rural roads. Punches, form answers, photos, expense claims and leave requests are kept on the phone and send themselves once you are back online, and the app shows you what is still waiting. What you last read is kept too, so a site's access details are there when you arrive with no bars.
LOCATION IN THE BACKGROUND
VisitsTracker collects precise location in the background — including when the app is closed or not in use — so that attendance and site visits can be verified without anyone having to hold the phone while they work. This is the app's core purpose, not an add-on.
Collection is bounded and visible:
• It runs only during the working hours your organisation has set. Outside those hours the server refuses fixes from your phone; they are not stored somewhere you cannot see them.
• Tracking state is always shown in the app, and a notification is visible while it runs. There is no hidden or silent mode.
• It stops when you sign out, and stops on the server the moment your account is deactivated or your organisation's subscription lapses.
• Raw location is kept for a limited, disclosed period, which the app tells you.
YOUR RECORD, AND WHO CAN SEE IT
"Your tracking", on the home screen, reads the same records your employer's reports read, and answers four questions:
• What is held about you — location fixes, visits, punches, photos — as exact counts, not summaries.
• When your location may be collected.
• How long it is kept.
• Who can currently see your location, by name, with the reason, and the date a temporary grant expires.
From that screen you can export your own weekly report, or a full copy of everything held about you. You can also erase what this phone is holding and sign out.
NO COVERT TRACKING
Everyone tracked signs in as themselves and can read their own record in full. There is no concealed mode and no way to run the app without the person carrying the phone knowing. VisitsTracker is not for tracking family members, partners or anyone who has not been given an account by their employer.
FOR ADMINISTRATORS
The companion web app holds the live map and trails, visits and coverage, jobs and dispatch, site and job custom fields, the leave and expense approval queues, and the evidence pack: a per-day or per-visit PDF with the trail, arrival and departure times, time on site, and the quality of every fix — including the ones flagged as untrusted, which are kept and labelled rather than quietly dropped.
Requires an account provided by your employer.
