About this app

Zeus is a job and service-history app for field service businesses — trades who work in basements, mechanical rooms, crawlspaces and rural driveways, where the signal usually is not.

Every address keeps its own record: past visits, what you fixed, the photos, the quote, the invoice, what you charged, and what you noticed for next time. Six months later you pull it up in two taps instead of guessing.

WORKS WITH NO SIGNAL
The whole app runs off a real database on your phone. Creating a job, shooting photos, running a checklist and logging your work all work with zero bars. When you get back to the truck it syncs on its own. Nothing waits on a connection.

Money is stored in whole cents and tax in basis points — never a floating-point number — so totals are exact. Document numbers come from the server with no gaps, which is the part a bookkeeper actually cares about.

PHOTOS MATCHED TO THE JOB
Shoot the photo and Zeus works out which job it belongs to from where you were standing, then asks you to confirm. The camera roll stops being the filing system. Show up to a callback and pull up exactly what that unit looked like last spring.

SIGNATURES THAT HOLD UP
Get a signature on the tailgate, or send a one-time link and let the client sign from the kitchen. Every signature is stored with a tamper-evident record of who signed, what they saw and when, and there is a public page anyone can use to check it against that record.

PLANS AND TAKEOFF
Upload a plan set, mark it up, count and price the symbols on it, and compare revisions.

YOUR DATA STAYS YOURS
• The database on your phone is encrypted, where your device supports it
• Optional app lock, using your phone's own unlock
• Your business is walled off from every other business at the database, not just in the app
• Usage analytics can be switched off in Settings
• Export everything you have put in, whenever you want
• Delete your account from inside the app, and it is really deleted
• Photos, documents and signatures live in object storage configured to one fixed region, Eastern North America

FREE, AND NOT A TRIAL
The Free plan does not expire. Jobs, quotes and invoices are unlimited on it, and it includes recording a payment, e-signature, scheduling, client records and job history, inspections, the price book, the tax-receipts worksheet and accountant export. One seat.

Pro adds job photos and documents with backup off your device, the image organizer and print templates, receipt scanning and expenses, job costs and profit, plan takeoff, the Day Board, inventory and business reports. Pro covers one person; Crew adds seats for a team.

Every new account starts on a free trial of the paid product, with no card required; it runs for 30 days from the day you start it. When the trial ends you can continue on the Free plan, or subscribe to Pro or Crew in the app. Subscriptions are billed by Google Play, and you manage or cancel yours there.

AVAILABILITY
Android today; the iPhone build follows. Canada is the launch market, and Canadian tax support (GST, HST and PST) is available outside Québec. Tax support for Québec and for countries outside Canada is not currently available.
