WindyChat has a user-centric screen layout that makes it easy and quick to adapt.
1. How to sign up
- This is a simple method where you only need to enter the ID, password, name, and nickname you want to use after verifying your identity using your mobile phone number.
(However, mobile phone number verification is required to prevent registration using other people's personal information.)
- When signing up, you are asked to select your country to avoid confusing your phone number with that of users from other countries.
2. Various functions
- Check friends list: You can check and register the list of friends registered in your contacts, and the user can choose whether to allow access to the contacts.
- My Profile Settings: You can set nickname, status, and profile image for each user.
3. Chat
- 1:1 Chat: You can chat anytime, anywhere.
- In addition to the ability to send and receive messages, there are also functions such as sending links, sending emojis, and attaching photos, and notifications that occur whenever a new message is received can be individually turned on/off for each chat room.
4. Set up account information
- You can change your phone number and password.
- Users can withdraw their membership at any time they wish, and their data will be processed so that it cannot be recovered.
5. Community Features
- Supports bulletin board-style community functions that allow communication with multiple users.
6. Other functions
- Language Support: Supports Mongolian, English, and Korean.
7. In order to use the WindyChat app service, you may need to allow the following access rights. All of the following are optional access rights.
- Contacts: Used to link contacts registered on the device.
- Camera and Photos/Videos: Used to access photos and media files registered on the device or to save files on the device.
- Notifications: Used when receiving notifications from WindyChat.
- Call: Required to use voice/video calls within WindyChat.
- Audio: Required to use the microphone for calling features.
- Bluetooth: Required to use connected nearby devices during calls.
* You can use the WindyChat app even if you do not agree to optional access permissions.
* If you do not agree to optional access permissions, some features of the app may be restricted.
