File Transfer is a simple Android app for sharing files directly between nearby devices on the same Wi-Fi network. It is designed for quick, local transfers without cables or complicated setup.
To use it, one device opens receive mode, and the other device chooses a file, finds the receiver, and sends a transfer request. The receiver can accept or reject the request before the transfer starts. During the transfer, the app shows live progress and then displays whether the transfer completed, failed, or was canceled.
The app supports nearby device discovery, direct local file transfer, transfer confirmation, progress tracking, and recent transfer history. It is useful for sending documents, archives, images, and other files between trusted devices in the same room, home, office, or local network.
Core transfers are intended to happen over the local Wi-Fi network between the selected sender and receiver. The app also includes advertising, which may be provided by third-party ad partners
