When you’re living on the road, it’s hard to make and keep track of friends. Without community, living nomadically can feel lonely, or even dangerous.

Crossroads is built specifically for nomads to find and foster friendships. The app keeps you in-the-know about nearby events, prioritizes your location safety when adding friends, and helps you keep in touch by showing where your travel plans will overlap next.

Crossroads is free, but currently in beta and invite-only. You’ll need a 6-digit invite code to join.

Ive made an account but im stuck in a loop of uploading my profile picture. i can't log in and access the app until i upload one, but it wont go past this step every time i select one. It says that a pop up will appear to allow the app access to my pictures, but the pop up never appears. i tried going into settings and giving it permission to access my camera roll, but it doesnt appear to be an option in the settings for this app. I hope this problem gets solved, i think this app is genius 🫶

I'm also stuck in a loop of pop-ups when uploading my profile picture. also it keeps asking me to activate precise location by using Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, but I don't use this feature on my phone, GPS is plenty. not sure why they'd require that. so unfortunately I won't be able to connect with fellow nomads through this app.

Really excited to see this fully fleshed out. Unfortunately it seems to keep crashing on me more often than not. Often not even fully launching before fully dropping me. I'm on one of the newest androids, which I'm guessing may be the problem. Stoked to be able to use a service by nomads, for nomads.
