edit: refunded 👍 I purchased this app and was unhappy with the information provided. The information is available on line for free. It did not find any new ancestors and had more pay to play charges after the $99 / 3 month charge . This is not an ad free app. I canceled my subscription in the cool down period ( 10 days after purchase). Unfortunately you cannot get a refund from the developer or Google play. $99 is overcharging for information that is free on line.

Well, that's almost £60 down the drain. I paid that amount for 3 months membership. I should have tried the Free Trial option, apparently there is one, but I fell for the advertising spiel and paid the money. My searches turned up absolutely nothing, I even tried a search for my father, with no success. I immediately requested a refund, but no joy, because I had accessed some of their worthless records over about 15 minutes! Think long and hard before committing to FindmyPast.

Although the site is generally useful I get numerous error messages and won't be renewing my subscription.
