Find the Imposter is a word party game of secret roles, clever clues and bluffing. Play with friends on one phone or in an online room. Most players know the secret word. Someone doesn't. Can you find the imposter before an innocent player takes the blame?

Turn a game night, family gathering or group call into a social deduction challenge. You don't need a board or a deck of cards: listen to the clues, question suspicious answers and vote together.

Classic imposter game
Everyone checks their role in private. The group shares a word, while the imposter must blend in without knowing it. Give a clue that proves you understand the topic without revealing the answer. Too vague, and people suspect you. Too obvious, and you help the imposter.

Undercover Mode: similar words, hidden differences
In Undercover Mode, the undercover players receive a different but related word. Their clues can sound convincing for a reason. Compare what people say, look for small differences and work out who belongs to the other team.

Choose from dedicated word-pair categories and adjust the difficulty. Change the number of undercover players and rounds to suit your group. The optional Mr. White role adds a player with no word: if caught, they get one chance to guess the secret word and steal the win for their team.

Dozens of word categories
Build a round around what your friends know. Choose food and drinks, animals, movies, TV shows, sports, football players, video games, music, countries and cities, or everyday objects. Explore science, history and culture topics for a different kind of conversation.

Pick familiar subjects for a mixed group or challenge friends with more specific interests. Classic and Undercover Mode have different category collections. Available topics and word lists vary by language.

One phone or online with friends
• Pass and play: 3–15 players share one phone. Check your role, hide it and pass the device to the next person.
• Online multiplayer: 3–10 friends join a room on their own devices. Keep the discussion going in your group call while you play.

How to play
1. Add your players or create an online room.
2. Choose a mode and your word categories.
3. Read your role privately.
4. Take turns giving clues without saying the secret word.
5. Discuss, bluff and vote for your suspect.

Make the game fit your group
Adjust the timer and number of imposters. Try Chaos Mode for random events and rules that change the rhythm of a round. Switch between the classic missing-word challenge and Undercover's related-word puzzle when your group wants a new twist.

A clue game where people make the difference
A confident answer can hide a bluff. An unusual clue can come from an innocent player. This guessing game rewards listening, conversation and reading your friends, not just knowing more words. Each group brings its own jokes, suspicions and explanations.

Play in English, Arabic, Spanish, French, Hindi or German. Language options let your group choose how to play; categories and word-pair availability depend on the selected language.

An internet connection is needed to load the app and use online rooms. For pass-and-play games, everyone can use the same device.
