I'll admit, it's been hard not being able to access things like Facebook and YouTube these past couple of weeks from my phone, but I've noticed a major productivity boost as well! One thing that is kind of weird is that if enough data accumulates in the app, it won't block the listed apps properly until I clear the app data, log back in, and reconfigure the apps to block from scratch. Again, I'm loving it overall! Thank you for creating this!!!

Great idea, but you can simply uninstall it on android whenever you want, limiting how useful it is. if you are trying to combat digital addiction on android it won't do that much aside from add an extra step. Edit: update the review because they added a strict mode to Android that is very hard to bypass. Only four star because there are still glitches, but they seem to have a real desire to correct these problems.

UPDATED REVIEW - APRIL 20, 2026 Initially, I had given this app two stars because Bloom could simply be force-closed by the user, bypassing all blocks. The co-founder of the app emailed me informing me of updates that have addressed this problem, and I am very pleased with this news! There are some weird quirks, like switching between open apps will fail the first time, or if you're blocking certain Google/Samsung apps Bloom will give endless pop-ups and make it VERY difficult to use the phone.
