Prepare for the TCF — the Test de connaissance du français — with real past
papers, not sample questions.

Lumière gives you 40 complete listening papers and 40 complete reading papers,
965 writing subjects and 30 speaking subjects: over 4,000 questions drawn from
the exam as it is actually set. Whether you are sitting the TCF for Canadian
immigration, for citizenship, for a Quebec application, for university, or for
work, you practise on the real thing.

PRACTISE, OR SIT THE PAPER

Two modes, and the difference is deliberate.

Practice has no timer. Skip a question and come back to it, jump anywhere with
the navigator, and close the app mid-paper — your place is saved.

Exam is the same content under real conditions: the clock runs, it cannot be
paused, and the paper submits itself when time is up. That is the rehearsal
that tells you whether you are ready.

DRILL THE LEVEL THAT IS COSTING YOU MARKS

A TCF paper mixes every level together, because that is the exam. It is a poor
way to practise the one level you keep losing marks on.

Choose a section and a CEFR level — A1, A2, B1, B2, C1 or C2 — and Lumière
pulls those questions from all 40 papers into one set. Take 10, take 40, or
take every question at that level. Your performance screen tells you which
level to pick, weighted the way the TCF weights it: a C2 item is worth eleven
A1 items, so four hard questions matter more than fifteen easy ones.

SPEAKING AND WRITING, NOT JUST MULTIPLE CHOICE

Record your answer to a speaking task, hear it back, and get it transcribed and
assessed. Work through the three tâches of the expression orale, including a
guided conversation for tâche 2.

For the expression écrite, write your answer, have it checked, and compare it
against a model answer for the same subject.

VOCABULARY THAT STAYS LEARNED

Save any word you meet and review it on a spaced-repetition schedule, so words
come back exactly when you are about to forget them. A built-in French
dictionary with native pronunciation audio is a tap away from any question.
