About this app

Finity is a personal expense manager that keeps your money on your phone.

Add a spend in a couple of taps, see where it went, and get told before a bill is due. Your accounts, transactions and budgets are stored in an encrypted database on the device — there is no cloud sync, no bank login, and no account needed to use any of it.

WHAT IT DOES

• Accounts — cash and bank balances that update as you spend
• Transactions — income, expenses and transfers, with categories you can rename, add to or hide
• Budgets — four fields to create one: amount, name, period, and the categories it covers
• Recurring payments — rent, subscriptions, salary; settle or skip each one as it falls due
• Insights — one period control across the whole screen: how much, whether that is normal, and where it went
• Reminders — a notification at 09:00 on the day something is due, with no amount on your lock screen

FAST WAYS IN

• Long-press the app icon for "Add expense"
• A home-screen widget that opens straight into the same form
• Type it in plain language: "coffee 180" fills the form for you

PRIVATE BY DEFAULT

• Your database is encrypted at rest with a key held in the Android Keystore
• Optional app lock using your fingerprint or device PIN
• No ads, no trackers, no analytics SDK of any kind
• Nothing is uploaded unless you choose to sign in and use the assistant

THE ASSISTANT (OPTIONAL)

Sign in with Google to turn on six AI features: natural-language entry, budget suggestions, a saving planner, weekly and monthly digests, questions answered over your own figures, and a nudge when a spend is unusual for its category.

Only what a specific request needs is ever sent, and it is used to answer you rather than stored. Your transaction titles, notes and account numbers are not part of it. The rest of the app works exactly the same whether you sign in or not.

Finity Pro raises the monthly assistant allowance. Everything else is free, and always will be budgeting your own money should not be behind a paywall.
