About this app

Whether you’re on-the-go or on the couch, SnapScan allows you to make quick and easy mobile payments. After installing the app, simply load your bank card and add a secure pin or enable biometric authentication. Now you can use your phone to make payments in a snap!

Let’s make payments snappy:
- Shop in-store and online
- Send money to friends
- Verify your account to withdraw money from your Wallet
- Settle bills (via invoices and in the app)
- Buy prepaid electricity and airtime for you or a friend
- Donate to charities, and set up recurring monthly donations

Manage your account:
- Add up to three cards to use for payments
- You can even use your SnapScan Wallet as a payment method if you have funds in your Wallet.
- Authenticate your payments with a 4 digit pin or biometrics
- Verify your account to withdraw money from your Wallet to your linked bank account, or send money in your Wallet to a friend

What you need:
A valid credit or ecommerce enabled debit card (SnapScan works with all South African banks and most international credit cards).
A South African cellphone number

I think is is an excellent idea and i use it all the time at work. Its quick and easy to use and has almost completely eliminated any reason for me to carry a wallet. One thing that bugs me the inability to name/label cards beyond "Personal" or "Business". Often creating confusion on which cards I want to use.

Hi, I wrote a review on this previously, about trying to activate my email address. I just now deleted the review to add this updated review. Basically, I installed it again today, but the same problem exists like last time. Basically: 1: Install the application 2: Enter email address 3: Click on the link in the email address 4: Observe: "The device verification email is not valid anymore. You can resend a verification..." Please advise... EDIT: I got in by pressing next.

This thing when you log off and log in again it takes you straight to use the account with out using the pin and biometric system, i use to like it but now they are trying harder to make it unsafe and useless, imagine putting money then the next thing all your pin passwords are not working. Its useless zapper its 3 times better than this failure.
