Whether you’re on-the-go or on the couch, SnapScan allows you to make quick and easy mobile payments. After installing the app, simply load your bank card and add a secure pin or enable biometric authentication. Now you can use your phone to make payments in a snap!

Let’s make payments snappy:
- Shop in-store and online
- Send money to friends
- Verify your account to withdraw money from your Wallet
- Settle bills (via invoices and in the app)
- Buy prepaid electricity and airtime for you or a friend
- Donate to charities, and set up recurring monthly donations

Manage your account:
- Add up to three cards to use for payments
- You can even use your SnapScan Wallet as a payment method if you have funds in your Wallet.
- Authenticate your payments with a 4 digit pin or biometrics
- Verify your account to withdraw money from your Wallet to your linked bank account, or send money in your Wallet to a friend

What you need:
A valid credit or ecommerce enabled debit card (SnapScan works with all South African banks and most international credit cards).
A South African cellphone number

Installed the app hoping to ease the purchase of airtime as I do that often. Topped up my account, only to find out when attempting to make a purchase that the app actually deducts from linked bank account instead of the app's own topped up account. That's a bummer. And now when I attempt a withdrawal (which incurs 3.5% charge :|), Im required to update to the latest version? Hawu! Does it mean the current version is compromised? If not, why force a user to update? Is it some regulatory policy?

The app will let you put money in it without any verification but to use that money, it will prevent you from using that money at all. It will want verification to use that money. they think they're smart but it's not the first time we see such apps, for me, I'm never using it after I'm done with the money inside it.

Tried three times to add card. Went thru my bank app, but the app keep demanding me to add a card. I uninstalled and reinstalled but same problem.
