About this app

Keep Shadowrun action moving with cyberpunk style! Whether you’re calculating your dice pools on the fly or using some of your most common rolls, the app features themed dice with individual animations and sounds to make your dice easy to roll and easy to count. Features include:

Specially designed dice with Shadowrun themes, each with unique animations and sounds.
Street samurai dice included, with a sample die of each of the other types included, namely: mage die, adept die, decker die, face die, rigger die, and shaman die. Once you try them all out, you can purchase more of your favorites.
Automatic calculation of hits and glitches, while also tallying the total pips rolled for initiative purposes.
Dice pools as small as 1, as large as 40.
Roll by touching the screen—or by shaking your device.
When you buy dice beyond the free sample die, you get an accompanying piece of Shadowrun art that can be used as an app backdrop.

Works with any edition of Shadowrun—or any game that includes rolling D6s. Keep the action moving and the dice rolling. And never again worry about whether your hands can hold all the dice you’re going to roll!

Pros: Functions as a dice roller, tracks glitches nicely, effects on 1 and hits are pretty, pool selection interface is novel (although could be annoying in a pinch). Cons: If I had to describe an inefficient way to roll digital dice, simulating the dice as physics objects would be near the top of the list. My Note 10+ can handle it alright, but this method will practically melt lesser phones and can't be good on your battery. Also missing is the Shadowrun crucial Edge features, such as exploding 6's and re-rolling failures.

Cons: • Lacks exploding dice functionality • Lacks automated edge actions • Lacks roll history • Unable to remove dice outside the clear option. Pros: • Displays total dice, hits (5&6), ones, and numerical total. • Loads quickly • Options menu is fleshed out and contains everything you might want to adjust (Including a faster dice rolling animation!) Opinions: Animated dice waste quite a bit of screen real-estate which could better used to service users. — Am I in the minority on this one? If you add edge actions, consider adding an edition selection to the options menu to help hide irrelevant Edge actions. (I am unaware how these actions differ between editions)

Nothing works unless you pay. Only street sam role is unlocked, can't roll multiple dice for anything else, backgrounds are great SR art but too visually cluttered for mobile size and being able to read the dice, tap areas are a bit too small in the menus, totally unintuitive menu/nav to select number of dice.
