About this app

The most user-friendly and powerful fishing weather+solunar app that blends top forecasts and science-based feeding data to help anyone pick the best days/times to fish.

FishCaster is the ultimate fishing weather tool designed to put you on the water when
you want to be on the water. By blending science-based fish data, accurate weather and
moon forecasts, and the most user-friendly interface, FishCaster takes the guesswork
out of planning your next trip. Whether you use the built-in algorithms or set your own
custom criteria for your ideal conditions, FishCaster identifies the best days and times
so you can maximize every cast.
HOW IT WORKS:
You select the location and criteria. FishCaster then compares that criteria to the
forecasted weather data for that location and gives scores over the next 7 days (0-100
points). The higher the score, the better the forecast matches the criteria and the better
the fishing. The selected criteria can be one of our built-in criteria based on our own
science-backed algorithms or one of your own custom criteria that you’ve created.
FEATURES:

User-friendly interface. Anyone can use it!

Best available weather data for anywhere in the world. Our weather data source
combines data from the world’s most accurate weather models and is
consistently more accurate than competitors.

Built-in criteria for Best Fishing conditions based on our own science-based fish
behavior algorithm across numerous weather and solunar (sun/moon) variables
(barometric pressure, wind speed/direction, cloud cover, moon-related feeding
periods, and many more)

Built-in criteria for Comfort and Safety conditions when you want to catch fish in
more comfortable and safe conditions by avoiding temperature extremes, strong
winds, precipitation, and high UV index.

Create your own custom preferred criteria across weather and moon conditions
known to impact fishing. NO OTHER APP OFFERS THIS FEATURE! Know what
the ideal conditions are for the body of water? Create your own custom criteria
across numerous variables:

-Temperature (range) and temperature trend (warming, cooling, or steady)
-Barometric pressure (range) and trend (rising, falling, or steady)
-Wind speed (range), wind direction (range), and wind direction consistency trend
-Cloud cover (%)
-Chance of precipitation (%)
-Chance of thunderstorms
-UV index (0-11)

-Moon-related feeding periods
-Moon phase

Capture current weather and moon conditions when the fish are really biting.
With the tap of a button, these conditions are saved as criteria for future use. NO
OTHER APP OFFERS THIS FEATURE!

Set custom safety alerts for dangerous conditions (high winds, wind from certain
direction, thunderstorm risk, UV index, etc.). NO OTHER APP OFFERS THIS
FEATURE!

Automatic scoring (0-100 points) for the current period and next 7 days based on
how well criteria match predicted weather and moon conditions.
