About this game

Nonogram & Picross: offline picture-logic puzzles you can solve anywhere.

Nonograms — also known as Picross, Picture Cross, Griddlers, Hanjie, Paint by Numbers, Nanograms, or Pic-a-Pix — are classic logic puzzles from Japan. Fill in the cells of a grid so every row and column matches its clues. The numbers along each edge tell you the lengths of consecutive filled runs in that line, in order. Every puzzle has a single, logically deducible solution — no guessing required.

The entire game runs on your device. No internet, no accounts, no ads, no tracking.

What's inside

• Hand-crafted nonograms at four difficulty tiers — Easy (10×10), Medium, Hard (15×15), and Expert (20×20).
• A Daily Puzzle that's the same for every player on the same calendar day.
• A Continue card that picks up exactly where you left off.
• Undo and redo for every move.
• Hints that reveal one correct cell at a time. Solve a puzzle without hints to earn a Gold Star.
• Best-time tracking per puzzle, plus a separate best for no-hint runs.

Controls built for the grid

• Tap to fill a cell; tap again to clear it.
• Switch to Mark mode to X out cells you've ruled out; Xs don't count as filled.
• Drag your finger to paint a stroke. The stroke locks to one action as soon as it starts, so you never toggle mid-swipe.
• Pinch to zoom the board for larger puzzles, or toggle zoom from the overflow menu.
• Optional auto-mark: empty cells in a row or column get an X the moment that line is satisfied.

Readable, customizable board

• Four themes: Light, Dark, Sepia, and High Contrast.
• Color-blind-safe palette that replaces red errors with orange plus a diagonal-stripe pattern, so wrong cells stay distinguishable regardless of color vision.
• Adjustable cell gap and heavy gridline frequency (every 5 or every 10 cells).
• Show-errors toggle if you'd like your mistakes highlighted while you learn.
• Toggleable progress bar and mistake counter — hide them for a cleaner view, show them to track your run.

Accessibility and comfort

• Screen-reader labels on every cell and every clue line, so the board is navigable without sight.
• Reduce Motion disables the mistake-shake and completion-confetti animations.
• Honors the system text-scale setting.
• Haptic feedback on every action, with an off-switch.

Privacy first

• No accounts. No login. No sign-up.
• No network requests. No analytics. No crash reporting.
• No ads. No third-party SDKs.
• All progress, settings, and best times stay on your device. Uninstalling the app removes them.

Localized

• English and Japanese, selected automatically from your device language.

Who it's for

Built for players who want a clean, quiet brain-teaser on their phone — a logic puzzle that respects your time, your data, and your battery. If you enjoy sudoku, cross-sums, Minesweeper, or any deductive number puzzle, you'll feel at home here.

Whether you call them nonograms, Picross, picture cross, nanograms, griddlers, hanjie, paint-by-numbers grids, or pic-a-pix — this is a minimalist take on the genre. Sharpen a run of logic, relax into a daily puzzle, or chip away at Expert-level 20×20 boards at your own pace.
