About this game

Kasumi is a calm ink game. A shape appears. You drop ink inside it, and the ink does the rest — spreading on its own like capillaries, branching, thinning, finding its way into the corners you left empty.

You never steer the ink. You only choose where, when and in which colour it falls. That is the whole game, and it is enough: every drop is unpredictable, and every result is beautiful.

WHAT YOU DO
• Touch inside the shape to drop ink
• Watch it grow — veins branch, thin out and settle
• Tap STOP while the fill sits inside the level's band. Too little is unfinished; too much drowns the shape
• The shape comes alive in gold when you settle it

LEVELS THAT ASK ONE THING AT A TIME
Every level tells you its goal before the first drop: the band to settle in, how many drops you get, how long the ink lasts. Some levels ask for a light wash, some for a half fill, some for nearly full. Every drop you spend narrows the band — fewer, better-placed drops win. Shapes grow more complex as you go, the drops get fewer, the clock gets shorter, and the moment to stop gets tighter.

The first two levels show a meter. After that the meter is gone: the ink itself is what you read.

Every fifth level is a Breath level: no goal, no clock. Just drop ink and watch.
Every fourth level is Single Drop: one drop, one chance. Where you place it decides everything.

A GALLERY OF THINGS THAT ONLY EXIST ONCE
Every artwork you finish is kept. Open one and it grows again in front of you, exactly as it did the first time — same seed, same drops, same veins. Nothing is stored as a picture; the artwork is the recipe, so the replay is the original, not a copy.

Share any piece as a card: your artwork, its level, and the seed that made it.

SOUND MADE FOR LISTENING
The ink crackles as it spreads, and the crackle follows how much of it is alive. Prefer water, or a soft breath of air? Pick the ink's voice in Settings. A drop lands like a wet blot on paper. A finished shape settles into a soft chord. Headphones are worth it. Or mute it — the game is just as good in silence.
