Fissure is a quiet idle game about digging a hole and never quite finishing it.
Merge diggers. Break rock. Go deeper. Your crew mines while you are away, and the rock gets harder with every Depth you clear.
NO IN-APP PURCHASES. NONE.
There is nothing to buy. Fissure is free and it stays free. No paywall, no premium currency, no energy bar, no lives, no timers nagging you to come back, and no banner ads anywhere.
THE RULE THAT MATTERS
A Digger too weak for the rock in front of it does not chip away slowly. It deals exactly zero damage, and it says so — TOO WEAK, right there on the Digger.
So the hole stops when your crew outgrows its usefulness, and the only way down is to merge. It is not an optimisation you can skip. It is the game.
MERGE, DIG, DESCEND
• A merge grid of twelve slots, and a crew that keeps outgrowing it
• Merge two matching Diggers into one stronger one
• Depth after Depth of harder rock, with no final floor
• The Surge: for fifteen seconds, every Digger hits five times as hard
• A Hardness gate that tells you exactly which of your Diggers is dead weight
DESCEND AGAIN
When the hole goes quiet, you go back to the top and start over — but never from nothing.
Every run pays out Geodes for how deep you got, and Geodes buy five permanent upgrades that no reset ever touches:
• TEMPERING — hardens every pick, so your crew swings like a higher Tier and the Hardness gate moves out of your way
• IMPACT — every strike hits harder
• SPEED — your crew swings faster
• GOLD RUSH — every Chunk pays more
• DEEP SLEEP — the mine banks more hours while you sleep
The first run ends somewhere around Depth 40. The next one goes further, and so does the one after that. There is no last floor to reach.
IT RUNS WHILE YOU ARE GONE
Close the app and the crew keeps working. Come back to banked gold and pick up where the hole left off. Fissure is built to be checked on rather than ground out — a few minutes at a time, several times a day, with nothing punishing you for leaving.

A Stats panel for everything worth knowing: your record Depth, how many times you have descended, every Geode you have ever earned, and exactly what each of your five bonuses is doing right now.
