I just discovered the New York Mysteries games and I love them. They are challenging, but usually fairly intuitive. It's great that you get some free hints. I have only played the "free to play" versions and thus far have spent no money, which is really great. I wish I could turn off the character voices, but not a big deal. Overall, great games.

I truly enjoy these games!! They're FREE FREE. If you need a "hint" beyond the 5 free coins they give, you'll need to buy coins. It's worth it. I'm on Android, I personally do not get ads, I'm not sure if that's true for iOS users. There have been games where people say they have ads, in which I did not. (IDK). I docked a star because of the map. It's hard to see for me. So I waste time and patience clicking the wrong room SO OFTEN. I get inpatient and waste coins too ...

I love these games. They are very challenging at times, but not so much it can't be figured out. Best part its free unless you want to buy more coins for hints, but they aren't necessary if you're willing to put in the effort. I played the first New York Mysteries and immediately had to look if there were any other similar games by the company and was extatic to see there were I believe 5 of these (as of comment). If you love mystery/puzzle games this is a must in my opinion.
