Look up the wire color and circuit phase for any panel slot in seconds. TruePhase is a fast, on-device field reference for electricians, apprentices, estimators, and inspectors.
Type a circuit number on the big keypad and instantly see the common US phase color, voltage system, panel position (odd/even two-column), neutral, ground, and a field-convention note. No sign-in, no signal needed — everything runs locally on your phone.
WHAT IT DOES (FREE)
- Fast circuit-number keypad lookup with an instant phase and color result.
- Common US 120/240V single-phase convention.
- Odd/even two-column panel position for every circuit.

WHO IT'S FOR
Electricians and apprentices pulling and terminating conductors, estimators laying out panel schedules, and inspectors checking conductor identification in the field.
ACCURACY
TruePhase presents the common US field conventions for phase colors and shows the NEC-required identifications alongside them: the high-leg (orange) marking on 4-wire delta systems (110.15), the white or gray grounded/neutral conductor (200.6), branch-circuit conductor identification (210.5), and the green equipment grounding conductor (250.119). Ungrounded phase colors are common field practice, not a blanket NEC mandate — always confirm project specs, labeling, the NEC edition adopted in your jurisdiction, and site standard before pulling wire.
PRICE
TruePhase is free to download and use for 120/240V single-phase lookup. A one-time Pro Unlock ($4.99 — no subscription, no renewals) unlocks all three-phase systems and every Pro feature. Buy once, own it forever.
PRIVACY
Every lookup runs on your device. TruePhase collects no personal data, requires no account, and works fully offline. Saved panels and company info stay in local storage on your phone and are never transmitted.
