Your Android device contains a magnetometer sensor that measures the Earth's magnetic field. When a ferromagnetic metal object is nearby, it distorts the local magnetic field. Metal Detector measures these disturbances in real-time and converts them into easy-to-read gauge values, sound alerts, and vibration patterns.

Simply open the app, tap START SCANNING, and slowly move your phone near surfaces where you suspect metal might be hidden. The gauge needle will swing and the beeping will intensify as you approach metallic objects.
