Male users can discover male users, and female users can discover female users.

Same-gender friendship discovery is free. You can discover people nearby, find people with similar interests, send friendship requests, and chat after a request is accepted.

NewFriend provides chat between connected friends.

Safety controls are designed to restrict sharing of direct contact information such as phone numbers, email addresses, social-media usernames, URLs, and other contact details through chat.

CROSS-GENDER MATCHES — PREMIUM

NewFriend also provides an optional Cross-Gender Matches feature.

The main friendship experience is free same-gender discovery. Cross-Gender Matches is a separate premium feature that allows eligible users to discover friends of another gender.

Male users may discover female users, and female users may discover male users through this feature.

Cross-Gender access may require a minimum account age, KYC verification and approval, and an active subscription.

The waiting period, KYC requirements, subscription price, duration, and request limits are controlled by the NewFriend administrator.

After becoming eligible and purchasing the required subscription, users can access Cross-Gender Matches according to their active plan.

Cross-Gender Matches are intended for friendship and are not a dating or romantic matchmaking service.

NewFriend is designed to protect direct contact information.

Where contact-sharing functionality is available, additional eligibility, verification, waiting periods, and mutual approval may apply.
