I can see this product being useful for people who aren't car-savvy. However, a lot of information pertaining to my vehicle is wrong. Maintenance advice from this app suggests a spark plug change every 12k miles when in reality it should be every 100k miles for my vehicle. Sensor data also is lacking - even in scenarios when I get 0 errors on my vehicle, I don't have context around what sensors were scanned (or how many). Overall, surprised Fixd doesn't deliver over freely available options.

Overall, it's a decent service and the app is very user-friendly, easy to navigate, and easy to understand. The sensor is wireless with very fast pairing Bluetooth capabilities. For those who DON'T already have and own an OBD scanner, then this is for you. Having said that- for those who DO have and own an OBD scanner already, I don't see it being beneficial. It had the same information and stats that my other OBD scanner provides me.

When it works, it's pretty cool. The app really does not want to connect to the unit though. It fails over and over, after lengthy scan times. The app's "help" is to unplug it and plug it back in. Or you can use the internal help desk which has the message send button greyed out and really difficult to hit. But when you do hit it, it sends. Or at least, looks like it did. We'll see if this ever becomes worth the price.
