FixFile keeps the full history of the things you own — laptops, cameras, bicycles, power tools, home appliances and more — in one organised, offline-first place. Pay once to download. No ads, no subscription, no account, no cloud.

WHAT YOU CAN DO
- Add equipment with name, category, brand, model, serial, purchase date, price, seller and warranty expiry.
- Keep a lifetime timeline: purchase, repairs, parts replaced and maintenance, in chronological order.
- Log repairs with provider, problem, work performed, parts and cost.
- Plan maintenance with due dates and repeat intervals from 1 day, with on-device reminders (WorkManager — timing is inexact, Android may delay reminders; no exact alarm is promised).
- Attach unlimited photos and receipts with the system Photo Picker (no broad storage permission).
- Export a paginated A4 PDF service report for one piece of equipment, in the standard or premium theme, with an option to include or exclude personal notes — ideal as a resale handover.
- Export a full JSON backup (version 2) and restore it later; restore validates the file first and never silently overwrites existing data — imported items are added.
- Choose light, dark or system theme, and your currency.

- Deleting the app may remove local records unless you export a backup first.

Money is stored in minor units (never as a float), so costs are exact. Reminders use only the dates and intervals you enter — FixFile never invents manufacturer schedules.

FixFile is for anyone who wants to know what they own, what was fixed, what it cost, and what is due next — without giving their data away, and without another monthly subscription.

What’s new

FixFile is now a paid app: pay once to download, everything included, no ads, no subscription, no paywall. Bottom navigation redesigned with short single-line labels (Home, Equipment, Service, Settings) that can never wrap or truncate. Settings rebuilt as grouped premium cards (segmented theme control, currency dropdown, compact backup rows). Add Equipment rebuilt with a 2-column category card grid and a sticky Save button. All core features unchanged and fully offline.
