About this game

A Dance of Fire and Ice is a simple one-button rhythm game. Keep your focus as you guide two orbiting planets down a path without breaking their perfect equilibrium.

It's pretty hard to describe, but you should play the free online version on a desktop computer first if you are not sure you would enjoy this game!

Features:

- 20 worlds, each introducing new shapes and rhythms. What do triangles, octagons or squares sound like? Each world has its own unique hand-drawn fantasy landscape, and has short tutorial levels followed by a full-length boss level.

- Post-game challenges: Speed Trials for each world and blisteringly fast bonus levels for the brave.

- Play new levels for free: more levels will be added over the coming months.

- Calibration options: Auto-calibration and manual calibration. This is a precise rhythm game, so please use your ears more than your eyes when playing.

WARNING: This is a hard rhythm game. Not in the sense of note-spamming - for the most part you just need to keep a consistent beat - but keeping a beat is not very easy. So don't worry if you find it difficult!

This is an absolutely fantastic game, and the only thing that could make the Android version better is the ability to load custom maps like the PC version. Android has that kind of system level file management, so I'm shocked not to see that feature on this version.

While this game has made me throw my phone across my room several times, I have to agree that it's really fun and addictive. I think the 2 dollars were worth it! Update: When I tried to play this game three days after downloading it the screen was just black even though I closed it and reopened it about five times. When I uninstalled it then reinstalled it, my entirw progress was deleted and I had to start over. I didnt really mind as I still liked the game but the screen turned black again.

Probably the most simplistic idea for a rhythm game imaginable, and yet it manages to still maintain so much content because of how difficult it gets with later levels. Definitely my favorite rhythm game of all time. After buying this version, I ended up getting the steam version as well for $6, and that one has the option of creating your own levels; or playing some of the 10,000s of online levels. The PC version is far better control wise, but mobile is still very much playable.
