About this app

Flagman SMS puts your business text line on your phone.

Your customers text your business number. Everyone on your team who
should see those messages does, on their own phone, and can reply in
seconds instead of waiting until someone is back at a desk.

This app is a companion to the Flagman SMS portal. It shows the same
conversations on the same number, so a reply sent from a phone appears
in the portal, and a reply sent from the portal appears here.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

Read every conversation on the numbers you are allowed to see, with
unread counts that stay in step across your phone and the portal.

Reply with text or a photo. Photos are resized on the phone before
sending, so a full resolution camera shot does not fail to send.

Get a notification the moment a message arrives, and open straight
into that conversation from the notification.

Send a message in another language. You write in yours, the app shows
you the translation before anything is sent, and you decide whether to
send it or go back and edit.

Start a new conversation by searching your phone contacts by name or
number, or by typing the number.

Read recent conversations when you have no signal. The last 30 days
are kept on the phone, encrypted, for reading. Sending needs a
connection, deliberately, because a message that quietly sends twice
is a real charge and a real text to a real person.

Unlock with your fingerprint or face every time you come back to the app.

BUILT FOR BUSINESSES THAT ARE ACCOUNTABLE FOR WHAT THEY SEND

Every phone is linked to a named employee by an administrator, and can
be unlinked from the portal at any time. Unlinking ends that phone's
access immediately and clears what it had stored.

Notifications can be set to show only who is messaging, or nothing at
all beyond the fact that a message arrived, so a phone on a counter
does not display a customer's words to the room.

People who reply STOP are removed automatically and cannot be texted
again until they opt back in.

ACCOUNT REQUIRED

Flagman SMS is used by businesses that have a Flagman Telecom account
and a business number on it. Accounts are created by Flagman Telecom
for the business, and then by that business for its own staff. You
cannot sign up inside the app, and it will not be useful without an
account.
