Q: Is this for beginners or experienced tuners?
A: Both. Experienced tuners use it to save time and typically run higher oversteer settings. Newer tuners use it to learn how to tune and make sure the cars are stable after upgrading.

Q: How do I use the app?
A: Copy several car details from the game into ForzaTune, hit "Calculate" and copy the results into the tuning menu in Forza Motorsport or Forza Horizon. There is also a series of video tutorials on YouTube to get you started.

Q: What settings and upgrades do I need?
A: You will need racing upgrades like suspension, braking, anti-roll bars, and differential to change the values in the tuning menu. You can also use drift, rally and adjustable stock suspensions when available (like off-road buggies and some trucks in Horizon). You will also have the best results if you disable stability management (STM) and traction control (TCS) for lower class cars. Normal or simulation steering is fine.

Q: Why is tuning your cars important?
A: Upgrades can change how the car feels (for better or worse). ForzaTune lets you bring it back to a setup you can enjoy. Also, tuning doesn't affect your PI or race restrictions, so this is how you can gain an advantage in races.

Pretty good for Motorsport and Horizon in all forms of racing! My only issue with it is that sometimes the number values a tune gives me don't match where it shows the slider to be at all, and I don't know which one to believe. While very good at getting most cars dialed in there's just the occasional dud tune that doesn't improve the vehicle's handling at all which can sometimes be frustrating.

Absolutely worth the $5 for the Pro version!! This app has saved me an incredible amount of time fiddling with my tunes for every car. It does all the math for you, so if you're someone like me who loves racing, but is by no means a racing engineer and have no clue where to even start with something as complicated as gear ratios, this is the app for you!!

Been using this app for years. Well worth it. Usually can squeeze and extra half second and an extra 5-10 mph out of my upgraded cars. The gear tuning is a godsend, just gotta adjust your own final drive to put it where it feels best for you. The gear spacing is where the value is. Well worth the money to make your own tunes and customize the car the way you want. (downloaded tunes always have weird wheels and kits)

What’s new

Forza Horizon 6 tuning calculator updates include gearing changes which should increase mid-range acceleration for certain builds, and a fix for export/import of certain FM and FH6 tunes. Thanks to everyone for the continued support and feedback.
