Anyone can make their own tunes in Forza. It comes down to doing the right math, taking a test drive and knowing when to make a few adjustments. Nothing magic. ForzaTune Pro is a tuning calculator that does the complex math for you, and makes it easy to adjust the car to your driving style and skill.

For example, tell ForzaTune you're driving a Supra on the streets of Mexico, and it creates a tune to match. If you prefer a more aggressive or more stable feel, then open up the tune customizer to set oversteer or understeer in each part of a turn. ForzaTune works out the new values for you automatically.

There's nothing better than driving a car dialed in how you want it. And a car that feels glued to the road helps you drive faster.

Q: Is this for beginners or experienced tuners?
A: Both. Experienced tuners use it to save time. Newer tuners use it to learn how to tune.

Q: Why is tuning your cars important?
A: When doing upgrades many of the default tune settings will not match the new build. ForzaTune brings it back to a balanced setup. Also, tuning doesn't affect your PI or race restrictions—so this is how you can gain an advantage over other racers.

Q: How do I use the app?
A: Copy several car details from the game into ForzaTune, hit "Next" and copy the results into the tuning menu in Forza. There is also a series of video tutorials on YouTube to get you started.

Q: When should I use the gearing option?
A: Select the gearing tune option if you add a turbo, supercharger, cams or perform an engine swap.

Q: What settings and upgrades do I need?
A: You will need racing upgrades like suspension, braking, anti-roll bars, and differential to change the values in the tuning menu. You can also use drift, rally and adjustable stock suspensions when available (like off-road buggies and some trucks in Horizon). You will also have the best results if you disable stability management (STM) and traction control (TCS) for lower class cars. Normal or simulation steering is fine, but simulation steering is recommended in FH5 especially when fine-tuning.

Useful app, but the latest update has issues. Gearing isn't working properly on a couple cars. I said max speed was 170, the gearing limited it to 152. Obviously since my phone does auto updates, all my saves are gone. That was unfortunate. The diff settings need tons of customization on high powered, rwd cars. Recommended settings have too little accel lock leading to turn exit oversteer. Moving the oversteer customization slider will allow bump to be higher than rebound. This is bad. Thx.

Great app. Tunes are solid base tunes that I'm able to quickly make adjustments to and the rain tune setting is absolutely spot on. The only thing I would like to see is monthly updates for the newer vehicles to be added. I do understand how difficult that can be, so I use a comparable vehicle to get the base tune on the new additions and make the necessary adjustments after testing. Thank you for creating a solid app that's well worth the purchase price.

I've been using ForzaTune since FH4. I've used it on FH5 and FM7 and credit the app for the majority of my victories. Being able to maximize your setup to its fullest potential is amazing. I exclusively play on a wheel. Forza Horizon and Motorsport can be a handful without a properly tuned setup. Because of ForzaTune, I've been able to get quite a few top-100 and top-1000 leaderboard runs. It doesn't mean you don't have to drive well; it just makes the experience of driving easier.

What's new

This is a fix for some Android users having issues with the drop-down menus in the latest 5.5.0 release. Again, if you have saved tunes please back them up before updating to 5.5.0 or later.
