About this app

SteadySky Flight Tracker lets you follow your flight even without internet.

During your journey, you can use your phone GPS to view live flight data, check maps, search airports, follow your route and record your session even in airplane mode.

It is designed for passengers, frequent travelers and aviation enthusiasts who want to know where they are, better understand their flight and keep a flight map available even without a connection.

Free features:

Live GPS tracking
View speed, altitude, distance, route and climb or descent rate during your flight.

Works offline
Tracking uses your device GPS and can work in airplane mode, with no account and no mobile data connection.

Screen-off tracking
The foreground service keeps tracking active and shows a rich notification while the app works in the background.

Clear dashboard
Check the main flight values with an integrated legend that explains what each value means.

Height above ground
During approach, you can view an estimated AGL height when available data allows it.

Estimated outside air temperature
SteadySky can estimate outside air temperature, OAT, using the ISA model.

Turbulence measured by your phone
The app uses your device accelerometer to show an estimate of perceived turbulence during the flight.

Maps and airports
Use the included base map, radar fallback and search more than 4,000 airports by city or IATA code.

History and export
The free version stores your last 10 sessions and allows GPX export for visible sessions.

Online turbulence preview
Three lifetime online turbulence checks are included as a preview of the feature.

Guides, languages and privacy
SteadySky includes in-app guides, language selection, theme selection, no ads and no account.
