Good idea behind the app, but there are problems. My phone rarely overheats, but this app somehow overheats the phone to the point that it shuts down to protect itself. (Never seen that before downloading this app.) It has happened several times in the middle of recording, and the video may or may not be there when I turn the phone back on. As other reviewers have reported, switching cameras causes a short pause, and the video does not appear in the photo gallery once saved.

The button gets hidden after a while if you pause it and don't resume right away and then if you press the wrong part the recording stops. I've missed some of the things I was trying to record because I hit play after pausing and it didn't resume. Also, the things I record won't show up in my gallery, and if I want to find the file and move it, it doesn't give you a choice where to move it to. Partly user error, mostly button design needs to be improved, maybe sound to show button gets clicked.

Thank you for using FlipCam.
I will look at incorporating the button click sound for better interaction with the app. While recording if you do click on any other button other than stop, the recording automatically stops and video is saved.

Good app, love how it lets you swap between both selfie camera and main camera very easily. The only issue I've found is that whilst recording at 1920x1080 the video will continue going to match the memory card I have because the space is there, but for some reason when I press to stop the recording after a 40 minute video only 26 minutes of the video will be have recorded (tested twice now) Great app, just wish someone could tell me why this happens so I could go on longer walks with no issues.

Could you tell me if you have enough space in memory card for the 40 minute video? If not, the video recording stops automatically after reaching the limit.
What’s new
This release is only intended to inform users that FlipCam is available only until Android 12 version, due to known Android issue.
