About this game

Dottle is the timeless game of flanking and flipping, polished until every move glows. Place a disc so it traps a line of your opponent's between yours, and the whole line flips to your colour — then watch the board swing back and forth as advantage changes hands right up to the final square. It's effortless to learn and famously deep: a reckless early lead can collapse in a single corner play, and the best players think about stable edges and quiet moves rather than grabbing discs. Take on a genuine computer opponent across several difficulty levels, from a gentle beginner to a sharp minimax-driven mind that weighs corners, mobility and edges, or pass the phone for a two-player hot-seat match. Legal moves are highlighted so newcomers always know where they can play, discs flip with a satisfying cascade, and a live score and disc-count keep the tension readable at a glance. There's an undo for takebacks while you learn, an optional hint that points out a strong square, and a clean end-game that tallies the final board. Wrapped in a big animated title, a crisp two-tone palette and buttons styled just for it, Dottle runs completely offline with no account and no ads. Whether you want a quick five-minute duel or a long, swinging battle of position, it turns a simple grid of flipping discs into a game you'll keep coming back to.
