You are a solar-powered craft. The sun is your death timer. Hurtle towards the sunset at breakneck speed in a futile race against time. Delay the inevitable by catching speed boosts which reverse the setting sun - if only for a moment. Race The Sun: Daily Challenge Edition is inspired by arcade games of the past with a focus on high scores, short game sessions, and pure fun mingled with nerve-wracking tension. The rules are simple: don't crash, stay in the light, and don't slow down!

This new edition of the game includes several new features including new alternate ships, colorful new trails, and a new "daily challenge" system that will test the skills of even the most experienced players.

Pretty fun game! Clean graphics, smooth controls, and all about dodging stuff to save your ship. No clue about the lives system people mentioned—maybe it’s a premium thing? There is a paid version with extra worlds, but it’s not in your face. Also, the passive-aggressive reward messages? Unintentionally hilarious. It’s chill, funny and lowkey quirky—worth a try if you’re bored.

Very exciting game! But the ads every time after you crash and every time you try and use your bonus, REALLY??? The ads are getting longer and more frequent through the game that it's not worth playing any more. I mean long and stupid ads too! II am beginning to not like playing this game any more. This game is more ads than game. 1 STAR for the ads. Did I mention MORE ads than before!

To preface: I've been playing RtS since it first came out, so my standards are high. This is a solid mobile version of an amazing game and worth the $5 purchase. Only the default mode is in the game, but there are exclusive ships not found in the PC/console versions, which is nice. My only knock is that on the touch controls, pressing jump will nudge your ship slightly right or left if you don't push it dead center, which can cause crashes. If this is ever fixed, consider my review five stars.
