Ride.mg is a ride-hailing app built for Madagascar's streets. Instead of a fixed meter, you name the fare you want to pay — drivers see it and accept, or you raise it until one does.
NAME YOUR PRICE
Set your pickup and destination, then pick a price on a slider around the usual fare for that trip. Send it out and drivers nearby can accept it directly, no haggling on the roadside.
MOTO, BAJAJ OR CAR
Choose the vehicle that fits your trip and your budget — a moto for a quick solo hop, a bajaj for around town, or a car for more room. Prices reflect the vehicle you pick.
WATCH YOUR DRIVER ARRIVE
Once a driver accepts, track them on the map in real time until they reach your pickup point, then all the way to your destination.
RATE BOTH WAYS
After every ride, riders and drivers rate each other. Ratings are visible before you accept an offer, so you always know who you are getting in a car with.
APPLY TO DRIVE
Anyone can apply to become a driver from inside the app: submit your licence and vehicle papers, and an admin reviews the application before you can go online and accept rides.
SAFETY BUILT IN
Every review and report is tied to a real account — there is no posting anonymously. Report or block anyone from a ride or a review, and our team acts on reports within 24 hours.
NO HIDDEN FEES, NO MIDDLEMAN PAYMENT
Fares are agreed and paid directly between rider and driver. Ride.mg does not process payments or take a cut of your fare inside the app.
