Bühren, which is over 1000 years old and has around 540 inhabitants, has been the smallest independent municipality in the Dransfeld community since the regional reform in 1973.
A diverse and varied landscape is one of the region's great riches. What is unique here is the combination of landscape, culture and history, which ultimately led to the founding of the Münden Nature Park in 1959. As a result, the region has retained its originality, which can no longer be found elsewhere.
Based on this idea, committed villagers came up with the idea of developing the Bühren cultural trail. The aim is to make visitors aware of the natural and culturally significant objects in and around Bühren on a circular route with different stations. There you will find information boards that provide you with interesting information, or start the corresponding audio information.
