About this app
Floaty turns a quick doodle into a little moment. Draw something, tap Send, and it floats up on your person's lock screen or home screen — stroke by stroke, the way you drew it.
No chat threads, no typing. Just your handwriting, showing up right where they'll see it.
✏️ DRAW, SEND, FLOAT
• Draw right on top of your wallpaper, so you see exactly what they'll see
• Your drawing reappears on their screen stroke by stroke, then drifts away
• Tap it to mark it as seen — you'll get a quiet 👀 "seen" notification
• Reply in one tap, right from the lock screen
🎨 MAKE IT YOURS
• Neon and rainbow pens
• Pick any custom colour
• Home-screen widget: send ❤️ 👋 🌙 in one tap — or put your own drawing on a button
• Works on the Galaxy Z Flip cover screen
🎈 FOR THE TWO OF YOU
• Connect with one person using a 6-digit invite code — a partner, a best friend, family
• Day counter since you connected
• "Our drawings" album, with Save to Gallery
• Quiet hours: no screen wake-ups at night, just a silent notification
🔒 PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• No sign-up: no email, phone number or real name
• Drawings are shared only with the person you connect with
• Drawings are deleted from our servers 90 days after they're sent — save your favourites to your Gallery
• Delete all your data anytime in Settings
• Stored in Montréal, Canada
FREE AND UNLIMITED
Send 10 drawings a day for free. Need more? Watch one short ad for 5 more sends, or get Unlimited once to send without ads or limits. Receiving and viewing drawings is always free.
Floaty needs "Display over other apps" to show drawings on your lock screen and home screen, and a battery exception so they arrive on time.
Available in English, French and Korean.
