I upgraded to the paid app and haven't regretted it at all. The developer is adding new features often. I have a small breeding farm for pet chickens and hatching eggs. I need to keep detailed records for genetics and pedigrees. I was very excited when they added genetic traits. If you are a small backyard chicken keeper this app is perfect because it can be personalized especially for how you need it.

Updating to 5 stars! Thanks so much! Generally, a decent app, and it's great to see our overall cost per egg. That said, 2 major complaints. First, when recording eggs for multiple flocks, it takes a long time. Secondly, if you make any kind of mistake, there is no way to fix it. If you record eggs to the wrong flock, or enter the wrong date, there is no way to fix it and your records are now wrong.

I absolutely love using this app, it's made keeping track of my flock easy and convenient, I do have two things I wish were in the app though... I wish there was an option for, instead of simply saying "inactive", I wish there was an option to say a chicken is deceased. "Inactive" just makes it feel really inpersonal. I also wish there was a way to add pictures to a chickens profile without having to make a journal entry, aside from these two things though, I do absolutely love this app!
