About this app

Miss Windows Phone? So did we. Flow Metro brings the Metro Start screen back — faithfully — as a fast, modern Android launcher.

**LIVE TILES, DONE RIGHT**
Your Start screen is a wall of live tiles that actually live: the clock ticks, the weather tile shows the forecast, photos play across the tile, the People tile shuffles your contacts in a mosaic, and app tiles flip to show their notifications the moment they arrive. Music and video turn into a scrolling Zune-style ticker with transport controls. Even an active phone call lives on your Phone tile with the caller's photo and a running timer.

**ARRANGE IT LIKE WINDOWS PHONE**
Four tile sizes. Drag anywhere — tiles slide out of your way in real time and land exactly where your finger says. Drop a tile onto a same-size tile to swap places. Group tiles into folders with big Metro lettering. Everything animates with the signature WP cascade and turnstile.

**GLANCE & LOCK SCREEN**
Wake to a Nokia-style glance screen — a faint Metro clock, date, and your notification icons on black. Tap through to a full lock screen with your photo or a fresh Bing image of the day, then swipe up to unlock.

**ACTION CENTER**
Swipe to a real WP 8.1 action center: quick toggles for the whole device, brightness and volume sliders, media controls, and your notifications with WP-style toast banners over any app.

**MAKE IT YOURS**
The full Windows Phone accent palette, light and dark themes, background photos with parallax, transparent tiles, per-tile colors, icon packs (Nova/ADW/Apex), your own fonts, and adjustable columns.

**NO ADS. NO SUBSCRIPTION.**
The core launcher is free, forever. One optional Metro Pro purchase — one-time, not a subscription — unlocks extra columns, animated weather, widgets on tiles, call metrics, backup and restore, quiet hours, and deep customization.

**PRIVATE BY DESIGN**
Your tiles, photos and contacts stay on your device. No account, no sign-up. Anonymous usage statistics and crash reports (Firebase) help us fix bugs.

Bring your Start screen home.

Accessibility service disclosure: Flow Metro is a home-screen launcher. When you turn on the optional Windows-Phone navigation buttons, the hardware volume-key panel, or the top-edge Action Center swipe, Flow Metro uses Android's AccessibilityService API — the only API that lets an app draw these controls over other apps, receive the volume-key events, and detect these global gestures. It reads only the current window state to place the controls; it does not read, collect, store, or transmit your screen contents, text, messages, passwords, or any personal data. Everything stays on your device.
