FLTRSim® Simulates HVAC Systems Impact on Aerosol and Particle Inhalation Risk to Occupants, within Enclosed Spaces Served by HVAC Systems.

FLTRSim® may enable experienced and knowledgeable Professional, Chartered and other Professional Mechanical Engineers and/or similarly qualified and experienced AC/HVAC technicians and building air quality Professionals, to simulate HVAC system effectiveness in limiting occupant exposure to aerosols and nuisance particles. FLTRSim® simulation applicability and accuracy specifically relies on Professionally Qualified knowledge of HVAC system design basis and characteristics, including HVAC system air filtration effectiveness, measured, clean outside air dilution volume rate data; space breathing zone distribution effectiveness factors from consensus Building and Mechanical Codes, floor areas; and variable conditioned space occupant densities and exposure durations.

FLTRSim® Simulations are based on empirical methods and ongoing research regarding aspects of particle and aerosol transfer within enclosed spaces; and technical evaluations performed by and/or aggregated by such entities as ASHRAE, ISIAQ, US-CDC, US-NIH, EU ECDC; as well as industry standards development and professional consensus organizations.
