Speaker Cleaner plays specially tuned sound frequencies through your phone speaker to help shake trapped water out and loosen built-up dust. No tools, no disassembly, and nothing poking into the speaker grill.

It works the same way the well-known water eject trick does: a low frequency tone vibrates the speaker so moisture is pushed toward the opening, where gravity can carry it out.


WHAT YOU GET

Water Eject
An 80 second cycle that alternates between 165 Hz, 60 Hz and 90 Hz in short bursts. These are the low, powerful frequencies that move a speaker diaphragm the most, which is exactly what you want when there is water sitting behind the grill.

Dust Remover
An 80 second sweep from 200 Hz up to 8 kHz and back down again. Fine particles shake loose at different frequencies depending on their size and how they are lodged, so a sweep covers far more ground than a single tone.

Manual Frequency Mode
Choose any frequency from 20 Hz to 15 kHz and play it continuously for as long as you like. Useful if you already know which tone works for your device, or if you simply want a clean tone generator in your pocket.

Speaker Test
A 17 second musical sweep that climbs from low to high and back down. Run it before and after a cleaning cycle and judge with your own ears whether your speaker sounds clearer, louder and less muffled.

HOW TO USE IT

1. Pick a mode. Water Eject for moisture, Dust Remover for dust and lint.
2. Turn your volume all the way up. The tones need real speaker movement to do anything.
3. Point the speaker downward over a towel or a sink so loosened water has somewhere to go.
4. Press start and let the cycle finish. It stops on its own after about 80 seconds.
5. Wipe away any moisture you see, then run the Speaker Test to hear the difference.
6. If the sound is still muffled, run the cycle again.


GOOD TO KNOW

Results depend on your device, how much water got in and how long it has been there. This app moves water and dust that is sitting in or near the speaker opening. It cannot dry the inside of a phone, and it is not a repair tool or a substitute for professional service.

If your phone has taken a serious dunking, power it off and have it checked by a qualified technician. Do not run tones at maximum volume for long stretches, and keep the phone away from your ear while a tone is playing.
