The shadow is solid ground. The soul walks only where your light does not reach.
Lampion is a quiet shadow-theatre puzzle. The lantern hangs on stations around
the scene. Tap one and it flies there, redrawing every shadow on the board — and
your soul walks as far as the new darkness allows. Move the light, and the path
appears.
ONE RULE, TEN WORLDS
Shadow is the only safe ground, but shadow needs light: in the open dark there
is no path at all, and in bare light there is no cover. Your lantern has to make
both at once, and keep making them while the soul moves.
WHAT YOU GET
• 60 handcrafted scenes across 10 chapters — a stone garden, a ruined wall,
a lake, a pier, an ice field, a street of lanterns, a cellar, a mill yard,
a hall of mirrors, a tower.
• A new puzzle every night, from a bank of 400. Solve it and your lantern
garland grows; miss a night and the garland stays — nothing is taken away.
• Every scene has a machine-verified best solution, so a perfect run is always
possible. The game tells you when a position can no longer be solved.
• No timer. Unlimited undo. Thinking is free.
• Sparks buy a nudge when you are stuck. You earn them by playing.
• Play the puzzles offline; sign in only if you want cloud save.
THE TONIGHT BOARD
Solving tonight's puzzle can put your result on a shared daily board under a
nickname you choose. It is optional, it asks before it posts anything, and you
can play forever without it.
The rules fit in one line: shadows are safe, bare light is not, and the dark
outside the lantern's circle swallows what it touches.
A shadow-theatre puzzle: move the light, and the path appears.
