the recent changes are just simply terrible. there does not need to be a toggle input for the chat bar. We use the app to chat, therefore it makes no sense. Also, the emote page or whatever it's called popping up over the chat instead of the stream is bad as well because its too small, and you have to expand the chat just to see all the emotes how they're supposed to be seen. still love the app though, and I appreciate having it.

Really really great. My only complaint would be that if you send a message with a blocked term, it deletes the message and you have to retype the entire thing. The twitch app gives you the error, but the message still appears so you can copy paste, and Chatterino let's you use the arrows to reenter your previous messages. Support for something like this would be incredibly helpful

Love Dankchat, but with the latest update for some reason when I tap the emoji menu to bring it up, the video of the stream gets cut off, which didn't happen before in previous versions. This happens in both portrait and landscape mode. When I type in landscape mode, my phone's keyboard also cuts off the stream video. It would be great if these issues could be resolved. Channel point redemptions being available would also make this perfect.

What’s new

- DankChat now uses Twitch's new EventSub backend instead of the deprecated PubSub backend. This allows moderation messages to be more detailed and new Twitch features to be implemented sooner compared to before.
