How much time do you spend checking the weather for your takeoffs to decide where to fly?
Fly Decision is your helpful copilot. It gives you the original hourly forecast, but also automatically analyzes it for your favorite takeoffs, scores them from 0 to 10, displays them with a visual color scale, and sorts them by conditions. In a moment, you know which days and areas deserve a closer look and which ones you can rule out directly.
It doesn't replace your judgment — you decide — but it eliminates the most tedious part of the process: it automatically analyzes the forecast for your favorite takeoffs and shows you graphically 🟩🟨🟥 and with a score (0-10) where flying might be possible.
It's customizable: Adjust your ideal limits for minimum wind, maximum wind, and gusts so the algorithm calculates the score based on your preferences and piloting skill level.

Yes. It is designed to be intuitive and simple. We recommend you start without reading anything, just trying it out by "playing around". You have help and simple visual guides for the screens.
⚡ AUTOMATIC ANALYSIS THAT SAVES YOU TIME:
The system analyzes hour by hour, for each takeoff:
✅ Wind direction relative to the takeoff orientation
✅ Average speed and maximum gusts against your custom limits
✅ Precipitation and general weather
✅ Cross Country (XC) flight data: AGL Ceiling, CAPE, and CIN
✅ Low-Level Wind Shear (LLWS) and forecast reliability for each hour
With all this information, it calculates a takeoff score, an XC initiation score, and color-codes the data (🟩🟨🟥) so you know at a glance if it's worth going.

Uses high-precision Weather Models:
✅ Arome-HD 1.3 km (Météo-France) for wind in the first 48h
✅ Arpege 7 km for the following 48-96h
✅ ECMWF IFS HIRES 9 km for general weather
Hourly forecast for 4 days, with the original data updated up to 8 times a day (the maximum for each model, with just a few minutes of delay from their release, so you'll have the "latest").
🛠️ MULTIPLE TOOLS:
✅ Data filtering by time range (days/hours), recalculating the conditions score for that specific interval.
✅ Takeoff filter by distance.
✅ Links to other forecasts for each takeoff: Windy, Meteo-parapente, and Meteoblue, keeping all data at hand.
✅ Customization of average wind limit values (minimum, ideal, and maximum) and maximum gust, so the system calculates the score adapted to your preferences.
✅ Automatic selection of your daily preferred time range.

Visualize heatmaps of real takeoff points, with their coordinates (1.3 million registered takeoffs in 20 years).
