About this app

AppKomp is a fast, private app manager. Browse the apps installed on your device, extract them as APK or app-bundle files, and back them up, share them with another device, or reinstall them later.

WHAT YOU CAN DO
• Browse every installed app with icon, version, size, target SDK and installer
• Search, sort (name, size, recently updated) and group by target SDK, min SDK or installer
• Extract a single app or several at once as APK / app-bundle (.apkz) files
• Rename the file before you share it
• Send apps to another phone via any share target — no account, no cloud
• Receive an app someone shares to you and install it, with your confirmation
• Inspect an app's details: permissions, activities, signing certificates, storage use and more
• Works on phones, tablets and Android TV

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• No accounts, no ads, no advertising identifiers.
• Your installed-app list and the files you extract never leave your device.
• Only anonymous crash reports and usage statistics are sent, and you can switch them off in Settings → Privacy.

WHY THE PERMISSIONS
• "See all installed apps" — this is the core of the product: AppKomp lists your apps so you can back them up and share them.
• "Install unknown apps" — only used to install an app you explicitly received or chose to reinstall. Every install shows the system confirmation screen.
• "Delete packages" — lets you uninstall an app from the list; Android always shows its own confirmation.
• "Internet" — only for anonymous crash reports and usage statistics (opt-out in Settings). App files and your app list are never uploaded.

AppKomp is for managing YOUR apps — backup, transfer between your own devices, and reinstalling. Please respect developers and only share apps you are entitled to share.
