Protect your attention for what matters.
Focnera helps you create intentional focus time by combining app blocking, a focus timer, screen time insights, and reflection in one simple experience.
Choose what you want to focus on, select the distracting apps you want out of the way, and protect time for what matters.
Choose your intention:
Start each focus session by deciding what deserves your attention. Whether you're studying, working, reading, creating, or simply trying to spend less time scrolling, your intention stays at the center of the experience.
Block distracting apps:
Choose the apps that tend to pull you away and keep them out of the way during your protected focus session.
Protect your focus time:
Choose how long you want to focus and let Focnera help you stay with your intention until the session ends.
Stay with what matters:
When a distracting app tries to pull your attention away during protected focus time, Focnera reminds you what you chose to focus on.
Understand your screen time:
See how much time you're spending on your phone and understand which apps are taking most of your attention.
Reflect after each session:
When protected focus time ends, record whether you completed your intention, made progress, or still have more to do.
See your progress:
Review protected focus time, completed intentions, focus sessions, and recent activity to understand how you're using your attention over time.
Focnera can help with:
• Blocking distracting apps during focus sessions
• Reducing interruptions while studying or working
• Creating protected time for deep work
• Understanding daily screen time
• Building more intentional phone habits
• Reviewing your focus-session progress
Focnera is designed for people who want fewer digital distractions without turning productivity into another complicated system.
Choose what matters. Protect the time for it.
AccessibilityService use
Focnera uses Android's Accessibility Service to support app blocking during user-started focus sessions.
When a focus session is active, Focnera's Accessibility Service accesses the package name/identity of the app currently in the foreground. Focnera compares it with the apps you selected for blocking and, when there is a match, displays Focnera's blocking screen until the focus session ends.
Focnera does not use AccessibilityService to read screen content, messages, passwords, or keyboard input; inspect accessibility nodes; perform gestures; change device settings; or control other apps.
Accessibility information used for app blocking is processed on your device and is not transmitted or shared.
