FocusGenie was created by Dr. Sasha Hamdani (@ThePsychDoctorMD) and was built on what patients and her social media following specifically requested. EVERY detail was fine-tuned and engineered with YOU in mind.

We refused to use ads (we don’t need more distraction!) and carefully cost-compared so that FocusGenie would be as accessible as possible. A portion of profits will go to CHADD (Children and Adults with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder) to continue research and advocacy going forward.

Ratings and reviews

At first it was working pretty good. Helpful but could use reminders to use it. I logged out because customer service suggested to and haven't been able to login because I forgot my password. Also, clicked on forgot password multiple different times and nothing sent. So I've been trying to get some help but nothing has been solved. So I'm losing three weeks of a paid app 😠 Very slow customer service.

I love the ideas behind this app, but I'm having similar experiences as others that I cannot check off any of my to do list items and I get error messages when I try to complete Brain Trainers (unless I go through them twice) or fill out my daily Focus Tracker. Really hoping I didn't waste $50 on an app that I can't use cuz I would LOVE to utilize this.

I really really wanted to like this app. But the to-do list doesn't have reoccurring tasks. So if you need to remember something every day you have to enter them individually. Have to manually set mic & notification permissions. The prompts for the journal are unfinished or odd, ex. "How did heartbreak change your outlook?" No ability to individualize task categories. Unsubscribed for now. Hopeful for future updates. Feedback sent to devs.
