About this app

FocusPulse blocks the apps and sites that eat your day, and keeps them blocked when willpower runs out. No ads. No account. Your data stays on your phone.

WHY FOCUSPULSE
Most blockers can be switched off in one tap, and many quietly stop working when your phone's battery saver kills them. FocusPulse was built to fix exactly that.

• Strict Mode you can't cheat: while it's on there is no one-tap way out, rules can only get stricter, and restarting your phone doesn't end it.
• It never fails silently: if Android switches the blocker off, FocusPulse tells you on your next unlock.
• Your real numbers: guess your daily phone time, then see what your phone actually recorded.

BLOCK IN ONE TAP
• Quick Block: choose the duration that fits your focus
• Pick apps yourself or start from ready-made presets and app groups
• Block Everything: every app except calls and essentials (Pro)
• Pomodoro focus sessions with blocking (Pro)

SCHEDULES THAT RUN THEMSELVES
• Block by day and time: work hours, study time, bedtime
• One-tap templates: Study Mode, Back to School, Work Hours, Bedtime Wind-down
• Blocklist or allowlist mode
• Daily time limits and open limits per app (Pro)

BLOCK SITES, REELS & SHORTS
• Always-on site blocking in supported browsers, no VPN needed
• Block a whole site or just a part of it, like youtube.com/shorts
• Keyword blocking inside schedules
• One switch for Reels & Shorts, plus an adult-content filter (Pro)

STRICT MODE
• Free: lock your rules with a timer for up to 12 hours
• Pro: unlock with a PIN, a charger or a cooldown, and commit for up to 7 days
• Blocks can't be dismissed while it's on
• Emergency release is always there, but it makes you wait first, and the wait grows each time you use it
• Calls, alarms, Home and Android Settings always stay available

HONEST STATISTICS
• Today and weekly screen time, app by app (monthly with Pro)
• Your trend against the previous period
• Pickups: how often you unlock your phone each day
• A counter of every attempt to open a blocked app
• Hide system apps you don't care about

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• No account, no ads, no tracking
• All statistics are calculated and stored on your phone
• The internet is only used for purchases and the optional dashboard sync you set up yourself

PERMISSIONS
FocusPulse uses the Accessibility Service only to detect which app or website is on screen so it can block it, and Usage Access only to show your screen time and run time limits. Nothing is collected or shared.

FocusPulse Pro unlocks unlimited schedules, Block Everything, longer Strict Mode with PIN, charger and cooldown unlocks, full statistics and more. Choose monthly, yearly or a one-time lifetime purchase. Subscriptions renew until cancelled in Google Play.
