COMPATIBILITY:

- Focusrite Control 2 is compatible with all Scarlett 4th Gen interfaces. Make sure the desktop version of Focusrite Control 2 is installed on the computer your Scarlett is plugged in to, and your iPhone or iPad is connected to the same wireless network.
- Focusrite Control 2 cannot control your Scarlett when it is connected via USB to your mobile/tablet

Oh sweet I can connect my 2i2 gen 4 directly into my phone, and it works pretty well!! one major issue is that it defaults to one mic recording just a left channel instead of playing the mono audio on both ears. I'm sure we can fix this though, looks like there's an app called focusrite control. Turns out this app will do absolutely nothing when I have the device plugged directly into my phone. Instead it is a remote control for the desktop app, focusrite's software is hilariously bad

downloaded the app, but then it says it doesn't work for a USB connection which makes no sense. So I guess there's no way to control the vocaster when you're using a phone, I wasn't planning on using it on a computer setup. may have to return it now.

Good app but it's missing some useful features, like synced channel names. I see this feature was released for desktop on July 14th 2025, but not on the mobile app yet. Right now if you rename a channel on desktop, it will not update on the app, only default channel names are shown on the app. This can be confusing for some users if they need to adjust mixes on the fly
