**Use of the AccessibilityService API**

FocusTime uses the AccessibilityService API to enable the "Active Shield" (App Blocking) feature. This feature is designed to help you stay focused by preventing access to apps you consider distracting (such as social media and games) while a focus timer is active.

- How does it work?: When you start a Focus Timer, FocusTime uses the Accessibility Service only to detect in real time which apps you're trying to open. If you open a locked app, FocusTime will automatically close it and show you the Focus Screen to help you get back to your tasks.

- Privacy and Data: We guarantee your privacy. FocusTime does not read, collect, store, or share any personal information, keystrokes, passwords, or device usage data. All processing is strictly local and in real time.
